How did we get our start?

We built a Living History Museum piece by piece for local schools. The primary purpose of the Homestead was to make Sorghum and demonstrate in the Fall as part of a harvest festival.

Along the way we acquired a broom machine. That led to adding broom making into the demonstration and the fall festival. As a very small craft broom shop that operated seasonally, we always had difficulty finding supplies. With that in mind we began to offer small amounts of supplies to other crafters and have been helping where we can ever since.
